Reality exists as determined by whom it is perceived. Many carry out their day-to-day lives with acceptance of the physicality that surrounds them. "What I see, is what is.", we often are inclined to believe. Yes, the things you see, the things you hear, the things you touch, most likely do in fact exist, but to who besides you in that moment of physical interaction?

You buy a gun and an accompanying box of bullets. You listen as the bullets rattle against each other in the box as you walk home. When you arrive home and enter your room, you pull out the gun, you hold it, and you stare at it for a while, until you set it down on your bed. You leave your room, and close the door behind you.

How sure are you that the gun still exists? What proof do you have that the gun ever existed at all besides the incredibly unreliable communication of neural impulses that act as your memory and the residual sound of the bullets that continue to rattle in your head as you walk down the stairs. You ask your roommate sitting on the sofa, "Do I have a gun?"
"No.", they reply after scrutinizing your physical form and the lack of objects surrounding it.

But they are wrong in their reply. Their reality and subsequent analysis had been constructed upon the evidence derived from their physical perception. They believe their semblance of reality to be correct, and with no proof to the contrary, why shouldn't they?

However, their semblance of reality conflicts with yours, in that you do in fact have a gun, though this is unbeknownst to them due to the gun existing outside of their immediate reality. They have never seen it, held it, or heard it, therefore to them, it does not exist. In this circumstance the two of you reside within two separate realities; your's in which you possess a gun, and their's in which you do not.

This considered, it is important to also reflect upon the trillions of other realities that exist in conjunction with our own, coexisting in space/time, despite how frequently we believe ours to be the only. Reality is not singular, ours is certainly not the only, and on the vast contrary, reality manifests itself infinitely. Thus may be why we often feel so alone in a world in which we are clearly cared about so deeply; for we fail to recognize that the state in which we exist and perceive on an individual level is merely one amongst an ever expansive sea.

In conclusion, with the acknowledgment of these infinite realities that surround us, I'd like to share with you this album which stands to embody a snippet of my current reality, as well as several former states of it. Through sharing it, I hope to induce a potential convergence between mine and yours. <3
